The rapid technological development of modern society has led to vulnerabilities and an increasing demand for protection from personal injury, damage to property and environmental destruction as a result of unforeseen and undesired events. We can never completely protect ourselves from accidents and emergencies, but preparedness can prevent and limit potential disasters. The Rescue Unit is responsible for all vehicle and technical rescues in Gyeonggi-do. This includes: Confined Space, Trench Rescue, Structural Collapse, High Angle Rescue and Water Rescue.
